Selank dosage in units, mL and mg
Pepti's directions are written in two forms, millilitres and units, because prescriptions are written in millilitres and insulin syringes are marked in units. On a U-100 insulin syringe, 1 unit is 0.01 mL, so 100 units is 1 mL and 25 units is 0.25 mL. A unit is a volume mark on the barrel, not a measure of how strong the medication is. Units only mean something alongside the concentration printed on the label.
The milligram figure comes from that concentration. Pepti's single Selank vial is supplied at 2 mg/mL, so:

That arithmetic is a way to read a label, not a way to set a dose. A vial labelled 10 mg is not a 10 mg dose: it is twenty 0.5 mg doses. Online Selank doses are usually quoted in micrograms or nasal sprays, because the Russian product is intranasal, and they do not line up with an injection. The chart below is the conversion for Pepti's 2 mg/mL vial, drawn with a U-100 insulin syringe, with a column for the 1 mg/mL Selank in the blends. It is math only. The rule behind every row: units divided by 100 gives millilitres, and millilitres multiplied by the concentration gives milligrams. A chart written for a different concentration will give different milligram figures for the same units, which is the main reason not to dose from a chart, including this one.

Two things stand out. First, the volume is the same 25 units in every product with a listed draw. Second, SERENITY is the one directed at bedtime, because it is built around sleep; the others are daytime products. How long a Selank vial lasts
At Pepti's typical directions, one 10 mg vial lasts four weeks:

Four weeks is why refills run every 28 days, one vial per fill. Vials are multi-dose solutions shipped ready to use, refrigerated with ice packs, with sterile syringes and alcohol prep pads. When to take Selank
Once daily on weekdays
Pepti's single Selank directions say once daily, Monday through Friday, without a fixed hour on the label. Selank is described around the daytime experience of stress, and prescribers describe any change as a lower baseline over weeks rather than an effect at the moment of injection, so there is no "kick" to time. If your label names a time, follow the label. SERENITY is the exception: its label says nights at bedtime.
Why weekends are off
The weekday schedule is a prescriber convention, not a trial design. It keeps total exposure modest and builds in a regular break, given that long-term data does not exist. The 2014 Russian trial reported the anxiolytic effect persisting about a week after the last dose, so the weekend gap is not described as a loss of effect. Weekends off are part of the schedule, not missed doses.
Under the skin
Subcutaneous means into the fat layer, not the muscle. Abdomen and thigh are the usual sites, rotated so the same spot is not used repeatedly. There is no reason to inject near the head or neck; the peptide is carried systemically. Technique is covered in how to inject peptides safely.

What the trials used, and why that is not your dose
Selank has controlled human trials, which most compounded peptides do not. They are Russian, small, compared against an active benzodiazepine rather than placebo, and they used the intranasal product registered in Russia:

The honest reading is that none of these sets a dose for an injection. The subcutaneous form has not been the subject of a published trial, and there is no published dose-response relationship for that route. The trials ran for weeks, so they say nothing about long-term use. That is why your directions come from a physician who has reviewed your intake, not from a study table. Selank and the FDA, briefly
Selank acetate was placed in Category 2 of the FDA's 503A bulk drug substances list on 29 September 2023, and the FDA removed it on 27 September 2024 after the nominator said it had intended to nominate a different substance. It has not been reviewed by the Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee and has no active nomination. It remains legal to prescribe and dispense.
