MOTS-c Dosage: How Pepti Prescribes It, in Units, mL and mg
This page explains the MOTS-c dosage Pepti prescribes, what the units on the syringe mean, a dosage chart for MOTS-c and each blend that contains it, when it is taken, what can change your directions, and the side effects to know about. People also search for a "MOTS-c dosage protocol"; at Pepti the protocol is the line printed on your label, not a cycling schedule from the internet. Nothing here is a reason to change your own dose.

At Pepti, MOTS-c is prescribed as 0.25 mL, which is 25 units on a U-100 insulin syringe, injected under the skin Monday through Friday mornings. The vial is 5 mL at 2 mg/mL, so each dose carries 0.5 mg of MOTS-c and the vial holds 20 doses, about four weeks. Your physician sets your directions after reviewing your intake, and your exact dose and units are printed on the vial. Every Pepti blend that contains MOTS-c uses the same 0.25 mL draw and holds 20 doses.

MOTS-c Dosage
The short answer
| Product | Vial | Directions | Doses per vial | Price |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| MOTS-c | 5 mL, 2 mg/mL (10 mg per vial) | Inject 0.25 mL (25 units) subcutaneously Monday through Friday mornings | 20 | $259/mo |
Every price is all-in, covering medication, physician review, refill management and shipping, with no separate membership fee. Pepti is cash-pay and does not bill insurance. Your own directions are the ones printed on your vial.
MOTS-c Dosage
MOTS-c dosage in units, mL and mg
Pepti's directions are written in millilitres and units, because prescriptions are written in millilitres and insulin syringes are marked in units. On a U-100 insulin syringe, 1 unit is 0.01 mL, so 100 units is 1 mL and 25 units is 0.25 mL. A unit is a volume mark on the barrel, not a measure of how strong the medication is.
The milligram figure comes from the concentration on the label:
| What you read | Value | Where it comes from |
|---|---|---|
| Dose volume | 0.25 mL | Printed on the vial |
| On a U-100 insulin syringe | 25 units | 0.25 mL x 100 units per mL |
| Concentration | 2 mg/mL | Printed on the vial |
| MOTS-c per dose | 0.5 mg | 2 mg/mL x 0.25 mL |
| Total in the vial | 10 mg in 5 mL | Printed on the vial |
| Doses per vial | 20 | 5 mL divided by 0.25 mL |
That arithmetic is a way to read a label, not a way to set a dose. A vial labelled 10 mg is not a 10 mg dose: it is twenty 0.5 mg doses. If your label and your syringe seem to disagree, do not dose; message your care team. How long does a peptide vial last explains every number on a vial label.
MOTS-c Dosage
MOTS-c dosage chart: every Pepti product that contains it
MOTS-c is more often prescribed inside a blend than alone. Every blend below is a 5 mL vial with MOTS-c at 2 mg/mL, drawn at 0.25 mL, so each dose carries 0.5 mg of MOTS-c alongside the blend's other ingredients.
| Product | What else is in it | Directions | MOTS-c per dose | Doses per vial | Price |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| MOTS-c | Nothing | 0.25 mL (25 units) Monday through Friday mornings | 0.5 mg | 20 | $259/mo |
| PHYSIQ Blend | Tesamorelin, ipamorelin, AOD-9604 | 0.25 mL (25 units) Monday through Friday nights at bedtime | 0.5 mg | 20 | $289/mo |
| SHRED Blend | AOD-9604, CJC-1295, ipamorelin | 0.25 mL (25 units) once daily Monday through Friday | 0.5 mg | 20 | $279/mo |
| FUSION Blend | BPC-157, 5-Amino-1MQ, tesamorelin | 0.25 mL (25 units) once daily Monday through Friday | 0.5 mg | 20 | $279/mo |
| EUPHORIA Blend | BPC-157, GHK-Cu, kisspeptin | 0.25 mL (25 units) once daily Monday through Friday | 0.5 mg | 20 | $279/mo |
| SYNAPSE Blend | Semax, selank, tesamorelin | 0.25 mL (25 units) once daily Monday through Friday | 0.5 mg | 20 | $279/mo |
The volume never changes: every product in the chart is 25 units, Monday through Friday. The timing does: MOTS-c alone is a morning dose, while PHYSIQ is a bedtime dose because of its growth-hormone-axis ingredients. That is why you read your own label rather than a chart, including this one.
In a blend, every ingredient is in fixed proportion. One draw delivers all of them in the ratio the pharmacy compounded, and there is no way to take more MOTS-c and less of something else from the same vial. More on the blends: physiq vs shred vs titan and MOTS-c vs SLU-PP-332 vs 5-Amino-1MQ.
The Pen
MOTS-c also comes as a 3 mL pre-filled pepti Pen cartridge containing 30 mg MOTS-c, in a reusable click-dial injector. It is dosed by dial rather than drawn with a syringe, as printed with your prescription, so there is no unit conversion. A cartridge typically covers four to five weeks at the prescribed dose. It is the same medication; the comparison is in vial vs pen.

When MOTS-c is taken
Mornings
Pepti's MOTS-c directions say mornings. The morning timing places the dose near the day's activity, and the mild alertness some people report is less welcome at night.
Monday through Friday
The five-days-on, two-off pattern is a prescriber convention rather than a trial-derived schedule; the late-life mouse work used intermittent rather than daily dosing. Twenty doses at five a week is four weeks, which lines each vial up with a 28-day refill. There is no tapering and no cycling schedule in Pepti's directions.
Alongside training
The mechanism researchers describe is an exercise-signalling pathway. Prescribers describe MOTS-c as something taken alongside a training and nutrition plan, not instead of one.
Under the skin
Subcutaneous means into the fat layer, not the muscle. Abdomen and thigh are the usual sites, rotated. Technique is covered in how to inject peptides safely.

Storage and refills
Vials are multi-dose solutions shipped ready to use, refrigerated with ice packs, with sterile syringes and alcohol prep pads. Nothing is mixed at home. Keep it in the fridge between doses and out of light; beyond-use dating runs from first puncture and is printed on the label. One vial per fill, every 28 days. How to store peptides covers storage.
If a vial runs short before the refill, message your care team rather than adjusting anything yourself. If you miss a weekday dose, follow your directions and do not take two doses to make up for one.

What changes the directions
Your physician sets your directions after reviewing your intake. Things that can lead to different directions, or a different product, include:
| What can change | How it shows up |
|---|---|
| MOTS-c alone or in a blend | Each blend has its own label and, for PHYSIQ, a bedtime schedule |
| Vial or Pen | The Pen is dosed by dial instead of units |
| Your other medications | Anything that lowers blood glucose matters most; the intake asks for everything you take |
| Your goal | If weight loss is the goal, semaglutide or tirzepatide may be the more direct conversation |
| How you respond | Jitteriness or a faster pulse that does not settle goes to your physician, who may revise your directions |
When directions change, the new numbers are printed on the new label. Never carry a number over from a previous fill. Bloodwork is not required for any Pepti treatment. If your physician wants labs for your care, they'll ask through your account.

Side effects, in summary
The full picture, benefit by benefit, is in MOTS-c benefits.
| What is reported | When | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Injection-site redness, mild soreness, occasional bruising | Any time | Rotate sites |
| Transient jitteriness, a faster pulse or mild light-headedness | The hour or two after a morning dose, mostly early in a course | Usually settles; tell your physician if it does not |
| A reaction that is severe, spreading, or involves difficulty breathing | Rare | Stop and contact your physician; emergency care for breathing difficulty |
The published animal work reports MOTS-c as well tolerated. There is no human safety data from trials and no established interaction list, which is why the intake asks for every medication you take. MOTS-c is not used in pregnancy or breastfeeding. It is on the World Anti-Doping Agency Prohibited List at all times as an AMPK activator, and USADA has stated it is not eligible for a therapeutic use exemption; if you compete in a tested sport, it is not a peptide for you.
MOTS-c is a compounded prescription; compounded medications are not FDA approved. The FDA removed it from Category 2 of the 503A bulks list on 15 April 2026, and on 23 July 2026 an FDA advisory committee voted 7 to 5, with two abstentions, to recommend adding it to the 503A Bulks List. The FDA's final determination is pending, and it remains legal to prescribe and dispense.

Where to get MOTS-c prescribed
MOTS-c cannot be bought legitimately without a prescription. Sites selling it "for research use only" are not accountable for what is in the vial: identity, purity, sterility and concentration are untested. The prescription route:
- Complete a free online intake covering your history, medications and what you want help with.
- A physician licensed in your state reviews it, usually within 24 hours.
- If it is appropriate, a PCAB-accredited, FDA-registered US 503A compounding pharmacy prepares it to that prescription. Lot test results are published at /quality/lab-results.
- It ships refrigerated with your directions printed on the vial.
- Your physician stays reachable for questions and dose changes.
