5-Amino-1MQ Dosage: How Pepti Prescribes It, in Units, mL and mg
This page explains the 5-Amino-1MQ dosage Pepti prescribes, what the units on the syringe mean, a dosage chart that converts units to millilitres and milligrams, why there is no published human dose, the FUSION Blend, when it is taken, how long a vial lasts, what can change your directions, and the side effects to know about. It covers how Pepti's 5-Amino-1MQ is typically prescribed, not dosing protocols from the internet. Nothing here is a reason to change your own dose.

At Pepti, 5-Amino-1MQ is prescribed as 0.25 mL, which is 25 units on a U-100 insulin syringe, injected under the skin once daily Monday through Friday. The vial is 5 mL at 1 mg/mL, so each dose carries 0.25 mg of 5-Amino-1MQ and the vial holds 20 doses, about four weeks. Your physician sets your directions after reviewing your intake, and your exact dose and units are printed on the vial. Pepti supplies 5-Amino-1MQ as an injection only, and there is no human trial of it at any dose.

The short answer
| Product | Vial | Typical directions | 5-Amino-1MQ per dose | Doses per vial | Price |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 5-Amino-1MQ | 5 mL, 1 mg/mL (5 mg per vial) | Inject 0.25 mL (25 units) subcutaneously once daily Monday through Friday | 0.25 mg | 20 | $219/mo |
| FUSION Blend | 5 mL: BPC-157 2 mg/mL, MOTS-c 2 mg/mL, 5-Amino-1MQ 2 mg/mL, tesamorelin 3 mg/mL | Inject 0.25 mL (25 units) subcutaneously once daily Monday through Friday | 0.5 mg, with 0.5 mg BPC-157, 0.5 mg MOTS-c and 0.75 mg tesamorelin | 20 | $279/mo |
Every price is all-in, covering medication, physician review, refill management and shipping, with no separate membership fee. Pepti is cash-pay and does not bill insurance. These are the typical printed directions; your own directions are the ones on your vial.
5-Amino-1MQ Dosage
First, it is not a peptide
5-Amino-1MQ is short for 5-amino-1-methylquinolinium, a small synthetic molecule built on a quinolinium ring with no chain of amino acids in it. In laboratory work it blocks one enzyme, nicotinamide N-methyltransferase (NNMT), which is active in fat tissue. It sits in a peptide catalog because it is prescribed, compounded and injected through the same channels, not because of its chemistry. Is 5-Amino-1MQ a peptide explains the difference. For dosing, the practical point is the same as for any vial: the number that matters is the one printed on your label.
5-Amino-1MQ Dosage
5-Amino-1MQ dosage in units, mL and mg
Pepti's directions are written in two forms, millilitres and units, because prescriptions are written in millilitres and insulin syringes are marked in units. On a U-100 insulin syringe, 1 unit is 0.01 mL, so 100 units is 1 mL and 25 units is 0.25 mL. A unit is a volume mark on the barrel, not a measure of how strong the medication is.
The milligram figure comes from the concentration. Pepti's 5-Amino-1MQ is supplied at 1 mg/mL, so:
| What you read | Value | Where it comes from |
|---|---|---|
| Dose volume | 0.25 mL | Printed on the vial |
| On a U-100 insulin syringe | 25 units | 0.25 mL x 100 units per mL |
| Concentration | 1 mg/mL | Printed on the vial |
| 5-Amino-1MQ per dose | 0.25 mg (250 mcg) | 1 mg/mL x 0.25 mL |
| Total in the vial | 5 mg in 5 mL | Printed on the vial |
| Doses per vial | 20 | 5 mL divided by 0.25 mL |
That arithmetic is a way to read a label, not a way to set a dose. A vial labelled 5 mg is not a 5 mg dose: it is twenty 0.25 mg doses. If your label and your syringe seem to disagree, do not dose; message your care team. How long does a peptide vial last explains every number on a vial label in more detail.

5-Amino-1MQ dosage chart: units to mL to mg
Doses of 5-Amino-1MQ quoted online mix capsules in milligrams with injections in units, and the two cannot be compared. The chart below is the conversion for Pepti's 1 mg/mL injectable vial, drawn with a U-100 insulin syringe. It is math only. It is not a menu of doses, and the only line that applies to you is the one that matches the number printed on your vial.
| Syringe mark (U-100) | Volume | 5-Amino-1MQ from a 1 mg/mL vial |
|---|---|---|
| 5 units | 0.05 mL | 0.05 mg (50 mcg) |
| 10 units | 0.1 mL | 0.1 mg (100 mcg) |
| 15 units | 0.15 mL | 0.15 mg (150 mcg) |
| 20 units | 0.2 mL | 0.2 mg (200 mcg) |
| 25 units (Pepti's typical directions) | 0.25 mL | 0.25 mg (250 mcg) |
| 30 units | 0.3 mL | 0.3 mg (300 mcg) |
| 40 units | 0.4 mL | 0.4 mg (400 mcg) |
| 50 units | 0.5 mL | 0.5 mg (500 mcg) |
| 100 units | 1 mL | 1 mg |
The rule behind every row: units divided by 100 gives millilitres, and at 1 mg/mL the millilitres and the milligrams are the same number. That only holds for this vial. The FUSION Blend carries 5-Amino-1MQ at 2 mg/mL, so the same 25 units delivers twice as much, 0.5 mg; see below.
A chart written for a different concentration gives different milligram figures for the same units. Research-use products sold online are often powders you are expected to mix yourself, so the concentration depends on how much water was added. That is the main reason not to dose from a chart, including this one. Pepti vials are multi-dose solutions shipped ready to use, so the concentration on the label is the concentration in the vial.
5-Amino-1MQ Dosage
How long a 5-Amino-1MQ vial lasts
At Pepti's typical directions, one 5 mg vial lasts four weeks:
| Step | Value |
|---|---|
| Dose | 25 units, 0.25 mL, 0.25 mg |
| Doses per week | 5 (Monday through Friday) |
| 5-Amino-1MQ per week | 1.25 mg |
| Doses per vial | 20 (5 mL divided by 0.25 mL) |
| 5-Amino-1MQ used | 20 x 0.25 mg = 5 mg, the whole vial |
| Time per vial | 20 doses divided by 5 per week = 4 weeks |
Four weeks is why refills run every 28 days, one vial per fill. Vials ship refrigerated with ice packs, with sterile syringes and alcohol prep pads. Nothing is mixed at home. Keep the vial in the fridge between doses, upright, and do not freeze it. Follow the beyond-use date printed on the label, which runs from first puncture. How to store peptides covers storage.
If a vial runs short before the refill, message your care team rather than adjusting anything yourself. If you miss a dose, follow your directions and do not take two doses to make up for one.
5-Amino-1MQ Dosage
Why there is no human trial dose
Most dosage pages can point to the doses a human trial used, with caveats. 5-Amino-1MQ cannot. There are no randomised controlled trials of 5-Amino-1MQ in humans and no published human trials of any design, and as of September 2026 none are registered under its name. Its research comes from a medicinal chemistry program at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, in cultured cells and mice.
| Study | Model | What it tells you about dosing |
|---|---|---|
| Biochemical Pharmacology, 2018 | Cultured fat cells and diet-induced obese mice | That the compound reached its target; nothing about a human dose |
| Scientific Reports, 2022 | Diet-induced obese mice, with a diet change | Nothing about a human dose |
| Diabetes, Obesity and Metabolism, 2024 | Diet-induced obese mice, once daily for 28 days | Mouse pharmacokinetics after intravenous, oral and subcutaneous dosing, with distribution to fat, muscle and liver after subcutaneous injection |
| Scientific Reports, 2024 | Mice aged 22 to 24 months | Nothing about a human dose |
The 2024 paper is the most relevant to how 5-Amino-1MQ is used, because it dosed once daily for 28 days and characterised the subcutaneous route. That is the reasoning behind an injectable. It is still mouse pharmacology; human pharmacokinetics have not been published, and a mouse dose cannot be scaled into a person's dose by arithmetic. The weekday schedule and the 0.25 mL volume are the reviewed directions for this product, not something derived from a human study, because there is none. That is why your directions come from a physician who has reviewed your intake. What the research does and does not show is in 5-Amino-1MQ benefits.

When to take 5-Amino-1MQ
Once daily, Monday through Friday
Pepti's directions say once daily Monday through Friday. Five doses a week for four weeks is 20 doses, which is exactly what a 5 mL vial holds at 0.25 mL per dose, so the schedule lines up with the 28-day refill. Weekends off are part of the schedule, not missed doses. The directions do not name a time of day; if your label names one, follow it.
Under the skin
Subcutaneous means into the fat layer, not the muscle. Abdomen and thigh are the usual sites, rotated so the same spot is not used repeatedly. Technique is covered in how to inject peptides safely.
Alongside diet and activity
Both of the main mouse studies that paired 5-Amino-1MQ with a lifestyle change, a diet switch in 2022 and exercise in 2024, reported the combination doing more than either alone. That is the frame prescribers describe too: an adjunct to diet and activity, not a replacement. It is not an appetite medication; the 2018 mouse work reported food intake unchanged.
Directions say What it means in practice 0.25 mL (25 units) Draw to the 25 mark on a U-100 insulin syringe Subcutaneously Into the fat layer, abdomen or thigh, rotating sites Once daily Monday through Friday Five doses a week, weekends off 20 doses per vial About four weeks, then the next refill
5-Amino-1MQ Dosage
5-Amino-1MQ in the FUSION Blend
The FUSION Blend is a 5 mL vial containing 10 mg BPC-157, 10 mg MOTS-c, 10 mg 5-Amino-1MQ and 15 mg tesamorelin. Its 5-Amino-1MQ concentration is 2 mg/mL, double the standalone vial, so the same draw delivers a different amount.
| 5-Amino-1MQ vial | FUSION Blend | |
|---|---|---|
| 5-Amino-1MQ per vial | 5 mg | 10 mg |
| 5-Amino-1MQ concentration | 1 mg/mL | 2 mg/mL |
| 5-Amino-1MQ per 25 unit dose | 0.25 mg | 0.5 mg |
| Also in each dose | Nothing | 0.5 mg BPC-157, 0.5 mg MOTS-c, 0.75 mg tesamorelin |
| Typical schedule | Once daily, Monday through Friday | Once daily, Monday through Friday |
| Price | $219/mo | $279/mo |
This is a clear example of why units alone mean nothing. 25 units from each vial looks identical in the syringe and carries a different amount of 5-Amino-1MQ. In the blend, every draw delivers all four ingredients in fixed proportion, and there is no way to take more of one and less of another. No study has tested the blend as a blend. More in what is FUSION, and the metabolic comparison is MOTS-c vs SLU-PP-332 vs 5-Amino-1MQ.
5-Amino-1MQ Dosage
Injection, not capsules
Many sources quote 5-Amino-1MQ doses as oral capsules. Pepti supplies it as an injection only, the 5 mL vial above, and not as a capsule, pen or nasal spray. The two are not interchangeable: a milligram swallowed and a milligram injected under the skin are not the same exposure, and no human study has compared them. Never convert a capsule dose into syringe units.

What changes the directions
Your physician sets your directions after reviewing your intake. Things that can lead to different directions, or a different product, include:
| What can change | How it shows up |
|---|---|
| 5-Amino-1MQ alone or in FUSION | FUSION has its own label and twice the 5-Amino-1MQ per draw |
| What you are trying to achieve | A goal with human evidence behind another medication may lead to a different product |
| Your medical history | Pregnancy or breastfeeding, where it is not used; anything else on your intake |
| Your other medications and supplements | NNMT also methylates some foreign compounds, a theoretical reason the intake asks for everything you take |
| How you respond | Anything persistent or unexpected goes to your physician, who may revise your directions |
When directions change, the new numbers are printed on the new label. Never carry a number over from a previous fill. Bloodwork is not required for any Pepti treatment. If your physician wants labs for your care, they'll ask through your account.

Side effects, in summary
The full picture is in 5-Amino-1MQ side effects.
| What is reported | Where it comes from | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Injection-site redness, mild soreness, occasional bruising | What prescribers report | Rotate sites |
| No observable adverse effects at the doses used | The 2018 mouse work, not a toxicology study | Not a human safety finding |
| A reaction that is severe, spreading, or involves difficulty breathing | Rare | Emergency care first, then tell your physician |
There is no human safety database of any size and no established interaction list. 5-Amino-1MQ is not an FDA-approved drug and is not a component of one. It does not appear on the 503A bulks list or in Category 1, 2 or 3 of the FDA's nominated-substances list as updated 14 May 2026, and the FDA has never published a safety-risk finding about it. It remains a compounded, prescription-only medication, and compounded medications are not FDA approved.

Where to get 5-Amino-1MQ prescribed
5-Amino-1MQ cannot be bought legitimately without a prescription. Sites selling it "for research use only" are not accountable for what is in the vial: identity, purity, sterility and concentration are untested, so even the concentration your units chart depends on is unknown. The prescription route:
- Complete a free online intake covering your history, medications and what you want help with.
- A physician licensed in your state reviews it, usually within 24 hours.
- If it is appropriate, a PCAB-accredited, FDA-registered US 503A compounding pharmacy prepares it to that prescription. Lot test results are published at /quality/lab-results.
- It ships refrigerated with your directions printed on the vial.
- Your physician stays reachable for questions and dose changes.

Common questions
5-Amino-1MQ Dosage, answered.
At Pepti, 5-Amino-1MQ is typically prescribed as 0.25 mL, which is 25 units on a U-100 insulin syringe, injected subcutaneously once daily Monday through Friday. From the 1 mg/mL vial that is 0.25 mg per dose. Your physician sets your directions after reviewing your intake, and your exact dose is printed on the vial.
The amount printed on your vial, on the schedule printed on your vial. Pepti's typical directions are 25 units five days a week, but your own directions are set by your physician after reviewing your intake. If you have questions about your dose, message your care team.
The number printed on your vial. Pepti's typical directions are 25 units, which is 0.25 mL on a U-100 insulin syringe, where 1 unit is 0.01 mL.
From Pepti's 1 mg/mL vial, 0.25 mg, which is 250 mcg. From the FUSION Blend, where 5-Amino-1MQ is at 2 mg/mL, the same 25 units is 0.5 mg.
The chart above converts units to millilitres to milligrams for a 1 mg/mL vial, the concentration Pepti supplies. It is a conversion, not a list of doses to choose from. Your own label is the one that applies.
There isn't one. There are no published human trials of 5-Amino-1MQ of any design. The research is in cultured cells and mice, and a mouse dose cannot be scaled into a human dose by arithmetic.
About four weeks. A 5 mg vial at 25 units (0.25 mg) five days a week is 20 injections, which uses the whole 5 mg in four weeks, matching the 28-day refill.
At Pepti it is an injection: a 5 mL multi-dose vial drawn with an insulin syringe, injected under the skin Monday through Friday. It is not available as a capsule, pen or nasal spray. Capsule doses from elsewhere do not convert into syringe units.
Once daily Monday through Friday, as printed on your vial. The standard directions do not name a time of day; follow the time on your label if it names one.
No. Take the dose printed on your vial, on the schedule printed on your vial. No human study has tested 5-Amino-1MQ at any dose, so there is no evidence that more does more. If you have questions about your dose, message your care team.
