ELEVATE Blend Side Effects: What Is Reported, Component by Component, and What to Report
This page is a practical reference: what is reported, which component it comes from, what to report the same day, what needs emergency care, and who should not take ELEVATE. What the research has looked at on the benefit side is in ELEVATE blend benefits, and the full reference is what is the ELEVATE blend.

Treatments mentioned
The side effects reported with the ELEVATE blend are mostly at the injection site: redness, mild soreness and occasional bruising. Beyond that, reports track the four components: transient restlessness if it is dosed late in the day, an early headache, early fatigue in some people and a wired feeling in others, and occasional nausea or light-headedness. Each component is described as well tolerated in its own published work, but the blend has never been studied as a blend, so there are no side-effect percentages and no established interaction list. Anyone taking psychiatric medication or a stimulant should raise it with their physician before starting.

ELEVATE Blend Side Effects
The short answer
| Side effect | Component it tracks | How it is described | What to do |
|---|---|---|---|
| Injection-site redness, mild soreness, occasional bruising | Any injection | The most common report | Rotate sites |
| Restlessness or feeling over-alert, mainly if dosed late | Semax | Transient | Tell your care team about timing; do not change it yourself |
| Early fatigue or a flat, low-drive feeling | Selank | Usually settling | Tell your care team if it persists |
| Early headache | Semax, KPV | Occasional, early in a course | Report it if it persists |
| Occasional nausea or light-headedness | KPV and the blend generally | Some people, early on | Report it if it persists |
| Skin darkening | KPV | Not expected; KPV lacks the pigment-driving part of alpha-MSH | Report anything unexpected |
| A marked change in mood | None described | Always reportable | Contact your physician promptly |
| Facial or throat swelling, spreading rash, trouble breathing | Possible with any injected medication | Rare | Call 911 first, then tell your care team |
No row in that table has a percentage, because there is no trial of the blend to take one from.
The medication this page covers:
| Product | What is in it | Typical directions | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| ELEVATE Blend | 5 mL multi-dose vial: Semax 1 mg/mL, Selank 1 mg/mL, BPC-157 2 mg/mL, KPV 2 mg/mL (5 mg / 5 mg / 10 mg / 10 mg per vial) | 0.25 mL (25 units) subcutaneously once daily Monday through Friday; 20 doses, about 4 weeks | $249/mo |
At 0.25 mL, each dose is 0.25 mg Semax, 0.25 mg Selank, 0.5 mg BPC-157 and 0.5 mg KPV (arithmetic from the vial strengths, on a U-100 insulin syringe). Your own directions are set by your physician after reviewing your intake and are printed on the vial. The price is all-in: medication, physician review, refill management and shipping, with no membership fee. Compounded medications are not FDA approved.
ELEVATE Blend Side Effects
Why the side-effect picture is built from four components
ELEVATE is four peptides in one vial, and every evidence question about it is four questions about its parts. That applies to side effects too.
| Component | What its own work reports on tolerability |
|---|---|
| Semax | The Russian clinical series made tolerability an explicit endpoint, including in older stroke patients, and describe it as well tolerated |
| Selank | The Russian trials used a formal side-effect scale against benzodiazepine comparators and reported no sedation, memory impairment, dependence or withdrawal over the study periods |
| BPC-157 | Described as well tolerated in animal work; no large human trials |
| KPV | No toxicity reported in animal work at the doses studied; no human trials of any kind |
Clinical reports on the blend are consistent with those. The gaps matter as much as the findings: all the Semax and Selank human work was intranasal, not by injection, and nobody has followed people on the four together for months.

Common ELEVATE side effects
Injection-site reactions
Redness, mild soreness or a small tender spot where the needle went in is the commonest complaint with any subcutaneous injection. ELEVATE is injected into the fat layer of the abdomen or thigh. Rotating sites so the same spot is not used repeatedly is the usual answer. A site that is hot, spreading or worse after 48 hours is a same-day message. Technique is in how to inject peptides safely.
Restlessness if dosed late
Some people describe transient restlessness or feeling over-alert if Semax is taken late in the day. That is why morning is the usual time for ELEVATE. If it affects your sleep, message your care team about timing rather than moving the dose yourself.
Early fatigue, or the opposite
Selank is sometimes described as causing early fatigue or a flat, low-drive feeling in the first days, and a small number of people describe feeling wired. With ELEVATE, some people report one and some the other. Both are usually described as settling. Tell your care team if either persists.
Headache, nausea and light-headedness
An early headache is reported with Semax and with KPV, and mild nausea or light-headedness with KPV, mostly early in a course. They are worth reporting if they persist or get worse rather than better.
What people do not usually report
ELEVATE is not a stimulant and not a sedative. Skin or mole darkening is not expected, because KPV is the fragment of alpha-MSH that keeps the anti-inflammatory signalling and drops the pigmentation effect, and Semax is described as devoid of its parent hormone's melanotropic activity. Semax is also described as devoid of the corticotropic activity of ACTH, so it is not expected to raise cortisol. No withdrawal or rebound is described for any component. Many people report nothing beyond the injection site, which is not a sign of a problem.

What the FDA's 2026 reviews raised
Two points from the FDA's reviews of the components are relevant to side effects.
| What the FDA raised | What it means for you |
|---|---|
| For Semax, BPC-157 and KPV, a quality concern: an injectable peptide could in principle provoke an immune response if it aggregates or carries impurities, and the data submitted could not rule that out | A reason to care where a compounded peptide comes from; lot test results are at /quality/lab-results |
| A mouse study cited in the Semax briefing reported Semax potentiating amphetamine-induced dopamine release | No equivalent human finding exists, but your physician needs to know about any stimulant |
Neither is a known toxicity. In July 2026 the advisory committee voted to recommend adding Semax, BPC-157 and KPV to the 503A Bulks List, over the objection of FDA staff, with the FDA's final determinations pending. Selank's nomination was withdrawn in September 2024 and it has never been reviewed.
ELEVATE Blend Side Effects
Psychiatric medications, stimulants and gut treatment
There is no established interaction list for ELEVATE or any component, because the trials that would produce one have not been run.
| What you take | What is known |
|---|---|
| A benzodiazepine | Selank with a benzodiazepine was studied in one supervised Russian trial |
| SSRIs, SNRIs or antipsychotics | Not studied alongside Semax or Selank at all |
| A stimulant | Not studied; the mouse dopamine finding is the reason to disclose it |
| Immunosuppressants or biologic therapy for a gut condition | Not studied; raise it specifically |
| Any other medication or supplement | List it on your intake |
That is why existing psychiatric treatment is raised at intake and a physician reviews it rather than a form. If you are on treatment for panic disorder, bipolar disorder, major depression or another diagnosed condition, that treatment comes first. Do not stop any prescribed medication to start ELEVATE.

When to message your care team
| Symptom | What to do |
|---|---|
| Injection-site redness that is spreading, hot, or not fading after a few days | Message your care team the same day |
| Restlessness or poor sleep that has not settled | Message your care team about timing; do not change it yourself |
| Fatigue, a flat feeling or a wired feeling that persists | Message your care team |
| Headache, nausea or light-headedness that persists across several doses | Message your care team |
| Any change in mood you notice, or others notice | Contact your physician promptly |
| You start, stop or change a psychiatric medication or stimulant | Tell your care team |
Your physician stays reachable through your account. If side effects lead to a change, your physician sets your directions after reviewing your intake and how you are doing, and the new directions are printed on the vial. Never change, skip or double a dose on your own.

Serious reactions: what needs emergency care
| Symptom | What it may be | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Swelling of the face, lips, tongue or throat, widespread hives, trouble breathing or swallowing | A serious allergic reaction | Call 911 first, then tell your care team |
| Fainting or chest pain | Needs emergency assessment | Call 911 |
| A large amount injected by mistake, or a dose taken by someone it was not prescribed for | Possible overdose | Call Poison Control at 1-800-222-1222 and message your care team |
ELEVATE Blend Side Effects
Dosing errors
The commonest avoidable problem with any multi-dose vial is drawing the wrong amount. ELEVATE's typical directions are 0.25 mL, which is 25 units on a U-100 insulin syringe. Pepti prints the dose in both millilitres and syringe units for the exact vial you receive. If the label does not match what you expected, do not inject; message your care team. If you miss a dose, follow your directions and do not take two doses to make up for one. The conversions are in ELEVATE blend dosage.

Who should not take ELEVATE, or should discuss it first
| Situation | Status |
|---|---|
| A psychiatric diagnosis under active treatment | That treatment comes first; ELEVATE is at most an adjunct your prescriber may or may not agree to |
| Taking a stimulant | Must be on your intake |
| Immunosuppressants or biologic therapy for a gut condition | Raise it specifically |
| A diagnosed inflammatory bowel disease or structural gut problem | Belongs with the specialist treating it |
| Pregnancy or breastfeeding | Not used; safety data is absent |
| Previous allergic reaction to any component | Rules it out |
| Under 18 | Pepti prescribes to adults only |
| Tested athletes | BPC-157 is named on the 2026 WADA Prohibited List in section S0, prohibited at all times, which covers ELEVATE |
Bloodwork is not required for any Pepti treatment. If your physician wants labs for your care, they'll ask through your account.

|---|---|---|---|---|
| Per 0.25 mL dose | 0.25 mg Semax, 0.25 mg Selank, 0.5 mg BPC-157, 0.5 mg KPV | 0.5 mg Semax | 0.5 mg Selank | 0.5 mg KPV |
| Reported effects | The combined list above | Injection site, late-day restlessness, early headache | Injection site, early fatigue or a wired feeling | Injection site, mild nausea, headache, light-headedness |
| Key question | Four unknowns at once, never studied together | Stimulant interaction, from a mouse finding | No study with SSRIs, SNRIs, stimulants or antipsychotics | No human trials |
| Price | $249/mo | $229/mo | $229/mo | $229/mo |
A blend makes it harder to tell which component caused a reaction. If one does not settle, your physician may move you to a single component to find out. Component detail: Semax side effects, Selank side effects, KPV side effects and is BPC-157 safe.
ELEVATE Blend Side Effects
What the evidence shows, honestly
Each of ELEVATE's components is reported as well tolerated in its own work, and clinical reports on the blend match that: mostly injection-site effects, with transient effects that track Semax, Selank and KPV. That is a reassuring picture as far as it goes. It does not go far: the human safety data for Semax and Selank comes from intranasal use in the Russian studies, BPC-157 has no large human trials, KPV has no human trials, and nobody has studied the four together or followed people on them for years. Any provider describing ELEVATE as having "no side effects" is claiming something nobody has measured.

Where to get ELEVATE prescribed
ELEVATE cannot be bought legitimately without a prescription. Products sold "for research use only" have no accountable pharmacy behind their identity, purity, sterility or concentration, which is the exact quality question the FDA raised. The prescription route:
- Complete a free online intake covering your history, medications and what you want help with.
- A physician licensed in your state reviews it, usually within 24 hours.
- If it is appropriate, a PCAB-accredited, FDA-registered US 503A compounding pharmacy prepares it to that prescription.
- It ships refrigerated with ice packs, with sterile syringes and alcohol prep pads, and your directions printed on the vial.
- Your care team stays reachable for side effects and questions. Refills run every 28 days, one vial per fill.
Pepti is cash-pay and does not bill insurance, and prescribes ELEVATE in every state except Oklahoma, plus DC

Common questions
ELEVATE Blend Side Effects, answered.
Mostly injection-site redness, soreness or bruising. Some people report restlessness if it is dosed late, an early headache, early fatigue or a wired feeling, and occasional nausea or light-headedness. These are reports from practice, not trial figures.
Each component is described as well tolerated in its own research, and clinical reports on the blend are consistent with that. The blend has never been studied as a blend, there is no long-term data, and there is no established interaction list.
Some people describe a wired or over-alert feeling, mostly in the first days or when dosed late in the day. Tell your care team if it does not settle, and contact your physician promptly about any marked change in mood.
Some people describe early fatigue or a flat feeling in the first days, which is described with Selank and usually settles. Tell your care team if it persists.
Restlessness if Semax is taken late in the day is the reason morning dosing is usual. Talk to your care team about timing rather than changing it yourself.
That combination has not been studied, and a mouse study reported Semax increasing amphetamine-induced dopamine release. List every medication on your intake so your physician can review it. Do not stop a prescribed medication on your own.
It is not expected to. KPV lacks the part of alpha-MSH that drives pigment, and Semax is described as devoid of its parent hormone's melanotropic activity.
No. None of the four is a hormone or a secretagogue, and Semax is described as devoid of the corticotropic activity of ACTH.
There is no measured timeline. The early effects people describe, such as fatigue, a wired feeling or headache, are usually described as settling over the first days to weeks.
No. Safety data is absent, and it is not used in either situation.
Call Poison Control at 1-800-222-1222 and message your care team. If there is trouble breathing, swelling of the face or throat, or any other severe symptom, call 911.
No. Bloodwork is not required for any Pepti treatment. If your physician wants labs for your care, they'll ask through your account. The free assessment goes to a physician licensed in your state. A consultation does not guarantee a prescription.
