Your protocol

How IGF-1 LR3 is prescribed.

Who it's for
  • Adults whose physician is supporting muscle recovery and growth
  • Experienced patients already comfortable with peptide protocols

Your physician decides whether IGF-1 LR3 is appropriate for you after reviewing your intake and labs.

Directions & duration

Inject 0.25 mL (25 units) subcutaneously Monday through Friday nights at bedtime.

Cycle. Ongoing at your physician's direction, monitored with labs.
Ready for more? When you're ready for more, ask your physician to double your dose. If approved, the extra vial is billed at cost and applied to your next fill.

The science

How IGF-1 LR3 works, and what the research shows.

How it works

IGF-1 LR3 is a modified insulin-like growth factor 1 with an arginine substitution and 13-amino-acid extension that sharply reduce binding to IGF-binding proteins — keeping more of the peptide free and active, with a substantially longer effective half-life than native IGF-1.

It signals through the IGF-1 receptor, the body's primary mediator of growth-hormone-driven tissue growth.

Clinical evidence
  • Native IGF-1 (mecasermin) is FDA-approved for severe primary IGF-1 deficiency, which anchors the receptor biology in approved human medicine.

  • The LR3 analog itself, however, has no human clinical trials — its anabolic data comes from laboratory and animal research, making it one of the more investigational peptides physicians prescribe.
