About

FOXO4-DRI (Injectable)

FOXO4-DRI is a research peptide studied for clearing senescent cells, the worn-out cells that stop dividing but linger and drive inflammation as we age. Human evidence is limited, so it is prescribed only where a physician judges it appropriate. Compounded; not FDA-approved.

Your protocol

How FOXO4-DRI is prescribed.

Who it's for
  • Adults pursuing a longevity protocol under physician supervision
  • People who feel recovery, energy and skin have slowed with age and want to work on the cellular side of it
  • Patients who understand the evidence is from animal studies and are comfortable with that
  • Someone who wants a longevity peptide that is not a hormone

Your physician decides whether FOXO4-DRI is appropriate for you after reviewing your intake and labs.

Directions & duration

Inject 0.25 mL (25 units) subcutaneously once daily Monday through Friday.

Cycle. One small injection each day, Monday through Friday. Ongoing monthly treatment; your physician adjusts the dose as your goals evolve.
Directions shown are the pharmacy's standard for this preparation. Your prescription label is the final word.

What to expect

A typical course of FOXO4-DRI.

TimeframeWhat patients commonly report
Weeks 1–2Redness at the injection site is the most common early report. Nothing dramatic is expected early.
Weeks 3–8Energy and recovery are what patients mention most in this window, where they notice a change.
OngoingLong-term treatment. Refills ship every 28 days, and your physician adjusts the dose over time as your goals evolve.
Individual results vary. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved; a licensed physician determines whether treatment is appropriate and monitors your progress.

The science

How FOXO4-DRI works, and what the research shows.

How it works

Old, worn-out cells survive by holding a protein called p53 in check.

FOXO4-DRI breaks that hold inside those cells only, so they self-destruct while healthy cells are left alone.

Clearing them is studied for reducing the low-grade inflammation of aging.

Clinical evidence
  • In aged mice, a 2017 study (Baar and colleagues, Cell) reported cleared senescent cells, thicker fur, more activity and improved kidney function.

  • There are no published controlled human trials.
